Come on out for an evening around a campfire at the Picnic strip. This has been an annual event for several years. The strip is generally decent enough for about any aircraft, but please know your own limits. 122.7 is the frequency. See you there.

Come early AND stay late. Let’s bounce on gravel bars and enjoy mostly accurate stories over a bon fires. If you have ever wanted an excuse to explore the Brooks Range, here it is.

Catered by Lavelles Taphouse with aircraft competitions, beach games and a BBQ competition. Bring your camping gear and stay the weekend! Amazing food, local beer and Live Music by: Casey Smith Project, Ukulele Russ, Justin Boot and more! For those without transportation, we have limited boat and plane rides available.

First ever Whitehorse-Cousins Yukon STOL and Flour Bombing Fly-In! Hosted by COPA Yukon Flight Chapter 106. Overnight parking available, bring tie downs. Food trucks on site.

It’s a BBQ and potluck –– bring your favorite dish and join Rob for some fun! The BBQ is from 1pm to 4pm.

Please bring your anchor and mooring line and arrive between 11:00am and 1:00pm. Bring a second 100′ rope for tethering the tail of your aircraft to the shoreline. The Boat Taxi will be available to provide mooring assistance and rides to shore.

All Floatplanes and Seaplanes are welcome. No wheel planes permitted without prior permission from the Airport Manager!

On October 2nd, come join your fellow interior aviators on the hottest gravel strip north of the Alaska Range for an afternoon full of falling pumpkins (Weather Permitting) High wing, low wing, no wing? Come one come all! Bring the husband/wife, the kids, grandma, and the dog because you’re not going to want to miss this.
Of course, fire and food will follow the event! Prizes for first, second, and third place will be awarded.
Gold King is a public strip with private cabin lots. Please be respectful and pack out your trash.
